Privacy Policy

Prime Meridian is operated by Meridian Creative Inc. (“Meridian,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, where it goes, and how to get it deleted. It applies to primemrdn.ai and every Prime Meridian surface, including the business mail we issue on primemrdn.com and the public media kits we publish at kit.mrdncreative.com.

What we collect

What we do with it

We do not sell or rent your personal information, we do not share it with data brokers, and we do not use it to serve or personalize advertising.

Google user data

Connecting a Google account is optional and never required to use Prime Meridian. If you connect one, we request only the scopes needed for features you have switched on, we show you those scopes on Google’s consent screen before you approve, and you can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page or from inside Prime Meridian.

Prime Meridian’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In practice that means we use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you have enabled, we do not transfer it to others except as required to provide those features, for security, or to comply with law, we never use it for advertising, and we never use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

We never use Google user data, including Gmail, to develop, improve or train AI or machine-learning models, whether raw, aggregated, anonymized or derived.

Human access. Meridian staff do not read your Google user data. The narrow exceptions are: you explicitly ask us to look at a specific message, we must investigate a security incident or abuse, the law requires it, or the data has been aggregated and de-identified so it no longer describes you.

YouTube data

Prime Meridian uses YouTube API Services. If you connect a YouTube channel, we read your channel statistics and audience analytics (subscriber and view counts, and aggregate audience demographics such as age, gender, and country) to populate your metrics and media kit and to inform the pitches we prepare for you. We store these figures in your account and refresh or delete them at least every 30 days. We share them only as this policy describes: with the processors listed below, and publicly only on your media kit if you choose to publish it. Google’s own handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can disconnect YouTube from inside Prime Meridian, and you can also revoke our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. When you disconnect from inside Prime Meridian we delete the YouTube data we hold within 7 days; when you revoke from Google’s side we delete it within 30 days. YouTube data is not included in our long-term backups. Questions about how we handle YouTube data: contact@mrdncreative.com.

Gmail data

If you connect a Gmail account, Prime Meridian reads the mail in it to find brand correspondence, track deals and the terms you agree to, draft replies for your approval, and generate invoices, exactly as it does for mail in your @primemrdn.com mailbox. We store only the messages Prime identifies as business correspondence; the rest is not retained. We send the relevant content to Anthropic, our AI processor, to classify mail, read agreed terms, and draft documents on our behalf; it is not used to train AI models. We never use Gmail data for advertising, never sell it, and never let our team read it except in the cases listed under “Google user data.” Disconnect Gmail at any time from inside Prime Meridian or from your Google Account permissions page. When you do, the deals and terms you confirmed stay, so you can still invoice them. We delete the rest of the Gmail data we hold, including the emails, within 30 days from active systems and 90 days from backups, as our data deletion page describes.

TikTok data

If you connect a TikTok account, we read your TikTok profile identifiers (open id and display name), your follower count, total likes, and video count, plus the view counts of your public videos to populate your metrics and media kit and to inform the pitches we prepare for you. We store these figures in your account and refresh or delete them at least every 30 days. We share them only as this policy describes: with the processors listed below, and publicly only on your media kit if you choose to publish it. You can disconnect TikTok from inside Prime Meridian or revoke our access in TikTok’s settings; when you disconnect we delete the TikTok data we hold within 7 days, and within 30 days if you revoke from TikTok’s side. TikTok data is not included in our long-term backups.

Meta and Instagram data

Connecting Instagram is optional. If you connect it, we request only the permissions needed for the features you use, and we use the resulting data to populate your metrics and media kit and to inform the pitches we prepare for you. You can disconnect at any time from your Instagram settings or from inside Prime Meridian. Either way, we delete the Instagram data we pulled through the connection within 30 days.

Your books

If you use the Money tab’s books, we store the payments and spending you add, the bank statements you upload (spreadsheets or PDFs, and card and PayPal statements too), and your receipts (photos or PDFs), so we can sort them and show you what you made, spent and kept. The files are kept in private storage. Your books are private to you unless you share them. Our team can’t open your books in our tools, and we don’t read them except to fix a problem you ask us to fix, for security, or when the law requires it.

AI sorting. To sort a statement, we send it to Anthropic, our AI processor: the whole file for a PDF, and for a spreadsheet, its first 15 lines and the names of who you paid or who paid you. It is not used to train AI models.

Agreements in email. When a deal email settles the terms, we read that email thread to fill in the agreement for you to confirm. If it came from your Gmail, it follows the Gmail rules above: when you disconnect Gmail, we delete the email text we kept, and what you confirmed stays as your own record.

Taxes. If you answer the tax questions, we store your answers for each tax year: how your business is set up, your state, rough paycheck amounts and the tax taken out of them, and the numbers you type from last year’s return. We use them with your books to estimate your tax payments. The estimate is worked out each time you look and isn’t stored. We keep each reminder to put money away, and what you mark as put away or skip. When you chat with Prime, we send your books’ totals, your estimate and each brand’s payment record to Anthropic so Prime can answer questions about them. It’s an estimate, not tax advice: you file and pay your own taxes.

Year-end. From November we ask about write-offs you might be missing; each yes adds one line to your books, which you can take out. If you add the tax forms brands send you, we keep the photo or PDF in the same private storage as your receipts, with the payer and amount you type, and compare them with your books. No AI reads your tax forms. When you download the pack for your tax person, we build it from your books at that moment and don’t keep a copy. If you email it, it goes from your primemrdn.com address to the address you type, only after you tap Approve and send. We keep a record of the address and the note, like your other sent mail. Our email provider keeps a copy of each email it sends, the pack included. Deleting a tax form deletes its file.

The tax form brands ask you for. If you fill in your details for it, we keep your legal name, business name, address and tax number. Your tax number is encrypted, and Prime shows only its last 4 digits. No AI reads it. The whole number leaves Prime only in the form you download. We fill in the form each time you download it and don’t keep a copy. The summary for your tax person shows only the number’s last 4 digits. You can delete your details at any time, and they’re deleted when you close your account.

Sharing your books. You can share your books, read-only, with people you choose, like your tax person. We email each one a link. To open it, they type the email address you shared with, and we send a code there that works for 10 minutes. Once they’re in, they stay signed in for up to 12 hours, then need a new code. They see everything in your books except the tax number Prime keeps for the tax form brands ask you for (the summary for your tax person shows only its last 4 digits). That includes the tax forms brands sent you, which can show your full tax number. They can’t change anything. We keep their email address, and we record each code we send them, each sign-in, and each time they look or download, so you can see when each one last looked. Sharing lasts until you tap Remove; then their link stops working right away. If someone hasn’t looked in a year, Prime asks you whether to keep sharing. When you remove someone, we keep their email address and that record until you close your account. Meridian has no special access to your shares: Prime gives our team no view of who you share with or that record, and someone at Meridian can see your books in Prime only if you share them, like anyone else.

Taking things out. You can delete a payment or spending item you added yourself, or mark an item from a statement personal (unless it’s tied to one of your invoices). When you mark something personal, we delete it and its receipt, and keep only a one-way code so it doesn’t come back when you upload that statement again. If you tap “All personal,” or leave “Do this for every … payment” ticked, we keep a rule with that merchant’s name so its payments usually stay out of your books from then on. You can see and delete it under “Your rules.” Once you import a statement, the file stays in your private storage until you delete it or close your account. To delete it, tap “Delete this statement” on its page: that removes the file and the payments that came only from it. Payments that also came from somewhere else, like one of your invoices, stay, and so do your rules and the one-way codes for what you marked personal. (Cancel before importing removes the file.) When you close your account, everything in your books is deleted, on the schedule under “Where it lives and for how long.”

Bank and card connections

Connecting a bank or card is up to you. If you do, Plaid, the company that makes the connection, shows you its own screen: you log in to your bank there and pick which accounts to share. Plaid handles that connection under its own End User Privacy Policy. Prime never sees your bank password.

From the accounts you share, we keep each payment (its date, amount and the bank’s description, and the shop’s name when Plaid knows it), each account’s name, type and last 4 digits, and the bank’s name. We never get your full account or routing numbers. Plaid’s replies include account balances, and we don’t keep them. New payments are sorted into your books the same way as a statement you upload, so the names of who you paid or who paid you go to Anthropic to sort them. Our team can’t see your connections in our tools.

Stopping. “Stop syncing” ends a connection and keeps the payments it brought in. “Disconnect and delete what it brought in” ends it and deletes the payments that came only from that bank; a payment that also came from somewhere else, like an invoice or a statement, stays. If your plan ends, we stop bringing in payments that day and end the connection 30 days later; what’s already in your books stays, and if you’re back within the 30 days it picks up again. When you close your account, we end every connection with Plaid before deleting your data.

Automated processing and AI

Prime Meridian uses large language models to classify incoming mail, extract deal terms from contracts and email agreements, sort the bank statements you upload and the payments from banks you connect, and draft replies and documents. To do this we send the relevant content (which can include the body of a business email or an uploaded contract) to Anthropic, our AI processor, for processing on our behalf. Under our commercial agreement with Anthropic, that content is not used to train Anthropic models.

Prime’s deal know-how comes from Meridian’s own business records and our team’s judgment, never from your data or other creators’ data.

Drafts produced this way are proposals. Nothing is sent on your behalf without your explicit approval.

Who we share it with

We use the following processors, each only for the purpose listed and each bound to handle your data on our instructions:

We also disclose information where the law requires it, and to a successor if the business is acquired. People you choose to share your books with see them as described in “Sharing your books” above. That is the complete list.

Where it lives and for how long

Your data is stored in the United States. We keep it for as long as your account is open. When you close your account or ask us to delete it, we remove it within 30 days from live systems and within 90 days from encrypted backups, except where we must keep records to comply with tax, accounting, or other legal obligations.

Your choices

California residents have the rights granted by the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. To exercise any right, email contact@mrdncreative.com.

Security

Access to your data is restricted by row-level database policies so that your records are reachable only by your own authenticated session. People you share your books with sign in with a code we email them, and see only your books, read-only, until you remove them. Credentials for connected accounts are held encrypted and are never displayed back to us or to you. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Children

Prime Meridian is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
